• "Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tonsmeire took possession of their lovely home on Government and Rapier avenue just a few weeks ago, this home which has undergone complete renovation being the handsome gift from Mr. Joseph F. McGowin to his eldest daughter, who was formerly Miss Etta McGowin.

"The house with its beautiful furnishings needed but one thing to make it complete... and this was granted yesterday when Arthur Clarence Tonsmeire, Jr., arrived."
