I am searching for info on Elijah Thomas James, b 5 Dec 1848, who married 7 July 1886, Eliza A. Decker, b 11 Feb 1867 & d 1905 Warren Co.

They had 8 children:
Elijah William, Eliza Emaline, Essie Belle (m. Alfred Phelps), Ellen Leduma, Edney m., Evey Tomes, Ethel Lucinda, & Hettie Marvin.

After Eliza died E.T. married Amandy B. (Addie) Miller and had 3 more children: Myrtle Mae, Bertha Gladys, and Oliver F. In 1910 Census E.T. is shown in Warren Co. with Addie, Myrtle and Bertha (Oliver wasn't born yet.)

What happend to the children from his previous marraige? I cannot locate Elijah William James so far in the 1910 Warren, Edmonson or Butler Co. census and he isn't appearing onthe index for Kentucky.

The West Central Kentucky Family Research Association Bulletin printed info from E.T. James "book" in the Fall 1980 Vol. 18 #3 issue. I contacted the source, Thelma Abney. She had seen it and copied the info but the book belonged to someone else. She said that E.T. owned a business and kept other records in the book. Has anyone heard of it?
