I am researching information on Bill & Loner (Keenum) Melson. They lived in Lawrence County, AL, specifically Moulton, AL. They have several children, Clyde Melson being one of them. Clyde Melson is my birth father. I am particularily interested in learning about Bill Melson's lineage and also Loner Keenum's lineage as I can't seem to find any records (other than Loner's death information) on this website. I have heard that there is Cherokee Indian in the family and I'd like to find out how and on what side of the family. I'd also like to know where the Melson's and Keenum's came from Europe.
