Florence Walker Hensley

Mrs. Florence Walker Hensley, age 84, of Nebo, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A member of the Nealsville Church of God, she retired from Baxter Healthcare in 1988. Three brothers, Paul Walker, Leo Walker and George Walker, Jr., and her husband of 57 years, Robert A. Hensley, preceded her in death.
Surviving her are four children, Harriett Smith and her husband Jim of Marion, Ann Wilson and her husband Eddie of Tabb, VA, Mark Hensley and his wife Elizabeth of Danville, VA and Mike Hensley and his wife Nancy of Asheville; three sisters, Millie Hoffman and her husband Bill of Little Switzerland, Hazel Davis and her husband Dean of Marion and Betty Benner of Asheboro; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nealsville Church of God with Rev. Doug Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4:00 � 6:00 p.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
