I would love to hear from anyone who can help me with my research on my paternal HAMPSON line. They were born in Wigton, Cumberland England. My g-g-grandfather was William HAMPSON born abt 1856, who married Dorothy HOWE. Other surnames include KING,LAMONBY and LIGHTFOOT.
