Juana Watts, La Grange, 1880 to after 1904

Juana Ormena de Vera owned a ranch in Stanislaus Co. She was the widow of Bravlio Vera and was born in Equador in about 1825. Bravlio died in about 1855 and in 1860, Juana married John S. Watts (1827 KY - 1901 UT). Juana had several children by Bravlio Vera, 2 surviving were Joseph Vera, b. abt 1840, Equador and was living in La Grange in 1904 and Josefina Vera de Silva, b. about 1846, Equador who lived near Manlo Park in 1904.
Two surviving children of her marriage with Watts were John S. Watts, b. about 1862, d. about 1898 in La Grange and Nick (Vincent?) Watts b. after 1860 who died in Menlo Park before 1904.
Arturo Watts, b. about 1863, a grandson, was living with her in La Grange in 1880.
Her neighbors said of her in 1904 that she was a reliable person, a rich Mexican widow .
