I am interested in this John H Strode as possibly being my orphaned great grandfather. Was Nancy a Strode before marriage? If so, do you have her siblings names and who might be John's parents? I do not know how old John was when he became orphaned.

John Howard Strode was born 10 Feb 1863 in Meshack, (Monroe county) , Kentucky. A now deceased relative said he had a brother name Hugh who visited him when he lived in Peck, Idaho. Married Lydia Tumelson abt 12 Oct 1886 possibly in Cedar Vale, Kansas as that is where their children were born. My grandfather was named Hulet Hugh Strode.
