I recently found a photograph of an old envelope that was sent to Katerina CJUERRA(?) of Newberry from Hrastnik, Austria (now Slovenia) in 1911. I am unable to find a Katerina CJUERRA (or a similar name) in Newberry and wondered if someone more familiar with the area can find her. I believe that Hrastnik may be her or her parents' birthplace and this envelope may be helpful to someone in their genealogical research. The reason I have a photo of the envelope is because of my interest in using old envelopes and postcards in genealogical research. I have an article in the spring 2009 issue of New England Ancestors entitled Philatelic Genealogy (viewable at the philgen website) and have started the philgen website.
