My grand mother was Rosella Brinsfield (Brinchfield, Brintsfield, Brincefield) Luttrell. Her father was G W Brinsfield. On his marriage certificate it says he was born in 1854. His wife was Alice Abels. They were married in Jackson, AR in 1884. When I was very young I remember my grandmother telling me her dad died when she was around 12. Rose was born abt 1888. So I'm thinking he died around 1900 give or take a few years.
I think his dad was George Washington Brinsfield, the Methodist preacher, 1799-1907 and his mother Charity Skipper Brinsfield, 1810-1850, but I am having a hard time proving it. One thing I know for sure is that my grandmother and 2 of my aunts have a very strong resemblance to Charity. If any one can help me I would greatly appreciate it! I have been searching for over 2 years.
