In the 1900 census, there is a Mrs. Lena Murphy, widowed, age 75 living with the family of the widowed Mary F. Coleman in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. I am looking for an obituary for her - she does not appear in the 1910 census that I could find. I believe that Lena's maiden name was Jones. She was born in July 1825 in Georgia, probably in Covington, Newton County. If she is Mary F. Coleman's sister, then her parents were Micajah Jones and Genoa Tate, which is what I am trying to prove. I have never seen her name listed on any tree or census - although the 1830 and 1840 censuses show Micajah's family with a daughter the appropriate age. Lena may be a nickname - perhaps it was Olena, Elena, Elizabeth or maybe Sarah (where did THAT come from?). She had three children, two of which were living in 1900. Can someone help me out?
