I have family in St. Catharines dating back to the early 1900s. However, I can't seem to find anything on them - in St. Catharines. I have, however, found a few things in "Lincoln." I assumed that was the region/county name (although it's also the "Niagara Region"), but was St. Catharines also referred to as Lincoln IN Lincoln County at some point? The Linclon I'm thinking of at least is right next to St. Catharines, so I suppose I can see that being possible. On the other hand, my grandmother has never once called it Lincoln and nobody else in my immediate family has either.

Any clarification would be much appreciated! If it's Lincoln in the records that would explain a lot and may help me find people/information I haven't been able to find.
