I have hit a brick wall! My grandfather,Hugh
McClelland was born in Aultsville,Ontario.
(Which is under the St. Lawrence River now)
Born January 12,1893 to William and Mary Ann McClelland. He was the youngst of 8 children.
It is known that William went to the Buffalo area with his son Edward. We are also sure that they did not use a d at the end of the name and we think my grandfather may have added it. We know absolutely nothing about William except we do have a photo of him with his children about 1895. And my
father lost track of his Buffalo cousins'.
If there is anyone who may have my William in their family,I would be most greatful for any info you could share. Thanks,Jill
