Looking for anyone with information regarding this brother and sister. Believe both were born in KY and that their father's name was William Bridges. Family lore says mother was at least part Native American - either Cherokee or Creek.

Annie (my great-grandmother) was born 11/25/1873, married Joseph Wright Carter 1/5/1890 in Hunt Co. TX, and died 6/22/1952 in Hunt Co. TX. Don't know many specifics about her brother Tom, other than the fact he was the 2nd husband of Vara Lena (Furlong) Pearce.

Also, found record of a Della Morgan, wife of a William Bridges, in Hunt Co. TX, but don't know if these two are related in any way to Tom Annie. Of particular note is that Morgan was maiden name of mother to Tom's wife (Vara Lena Furlong Pearce). That family also came to Hunt Co. TX from KY at approximately the same time.

Would appreciate any info about these people. Mother remembers that someone was looking into Indian roots several years ago.
