My Great Grandmother was adopted, I am trying to locate any information I can that I don't have or family that I've not come into contact with.


This is the information I have.

Born: Oklahoma yr 1896

1897: Her father gave her up for adoption due to being a toddler and took the older children, they left for better land, such as Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Kansas. etc. Bessie saw her father twice after the adoption was done.

1898: Miami County, Kansas, USA
Adopted by C.H. Williams and Amie Williams family. Real father named "C.E. Collins" mother died prior to adoption, name unknown. Bessie was roughly 2 years of age.

1920 Bessie moved to Washington State and had married Ira Bishop.
