I have been researching my family tree and have reached the point that I am looking at the public family trees that are posted here on Ancestry. I am finding that so many public trees show Walter Kerr born 1656 in Scotland and died in 1748 in New Jersey to be the son of Walter Kerr born 1445 and died 1501. There appears to be about 200 years missing. I was wondering if anyone has the correct information.
