I am looking for information on the family of Franklin Gorrell Simpson. He was the son of Viola Mae Gorrell and Unknown Simpson. Viola is the daughter of Frank Cheatham Gorrell and Katie (Browning) Gorrell.

Franklin Gorrell Simpson was born sometime in the 1920's in Kentucky possibly. I can find his mother in the 1920 census with her parents and then she disappears. The next thing she is found listed in a bio of her father for Kentucky history as Viola Simpson and having a son named Franklin Gorrell Simpson.

Any help on Franklin or his mom would be appreciated.
