Mary Evelyn Larue Hallmark is my Great-Grandmother. She married John Allen Hallmark in 1895, at that time, she lived in Salem, Arkansas. After she married, they moved many times living in these Arkansas towns: Delware, Martin, Jackson, and Burke, finally ending up in the Oak Hill Community in Liver River County around by Ashdown. Her children were Emily, Lillie, Mae, Rosetta, Annie, and Andrew. I think she had a couple of step children, too, one was a Susan Hallmark.

I am looking for Great-Grandmother's parents. Mary was of mixed heritage, Cherokee and White, she always claimed white, but her Native American heritage is shown in her face and those of her children. It seems like she just dropped out of the sky when she married John Allen Hallmark, because I cannot find her before this. Her father may have been a Levi Thomas Larue, but I cannot confirm this, and I have no clue as to her mother. Would greatly appreciate any information.
