NEEDHAM PACE was born in 1836 in Buncombe Co., NC. I would like further information on him and his possible tie to my Pace family from Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Guilford Counties.

Another NEEDHAM PACE was born around 1828 in Guilford Co., and was apprenticed as an orphan there in 1839. He was associated with other Pace orphans apprenticed in this same period. These were ABNER, YOUNG, WISEMAN, ABSALOM, GEO. WASHINGTON (called JOHNSON), and females LIVELY and EDY--ALL PACES. Abner later went to Rowan Co.(my gggrandfather). Needham and Young Pace went to Mecklenburg Co. Both Lively and Edy married in Guilford (Lithcoe and Ozment marriages). The rest of these Paces disappeared.
