Silent Auction

We started the silent auction in 2008 as a way to raise funds for the EFNA Scholarship Fund. We raised around $300 and everyone seemed to enjoy it, so we have continued this every year since. We would like to continue it as an ongoing project each year as long as it is profitable and the members continue to participate.

The success of the auction depends on donations from the members. The items that have been the most popular are handmade craft items and homemade goods like jam, jelly, etc. In recent years we also received from Edward Eaves a bottle of his homemade wine and Otis Eaves donated two framed Eaves coat of arms. Both of those items brought a great price. It's a lot of fun to see what people come up with! I hope you will start now planning what you want to bring. Many of you are talented artisans and crafters and have much to contribute. Of course everything doesn't have to be handmade- just think about the auction when you clean out your closets. We start the auction Friday evening and close it Saturday evening. If you bring something after the auction has began that's okay, just let us know and we will get it on the table. The highest bidder wins the item and their name must appear on the last line of the bid sheet. If you bid on an item and have to leave before we close, please make arrangements with someone to pay for and pick up your item(s).

The EFNA will also have Eaves Reunion T-Shirts to sell at this year’s reunion.

Pease bring your genealogical records along with pictures, etc for our genealogical display area. So you can recognize your genetic cousins at the EFNA reunions, choose your correct name tag color as you are signing in:

Also, remember to wear your shirt in the above color to easily recognize those of the same line.
