I am working on a brick wall that my family has faced through generations of researchers. My great great grandfather was Isaac Wilson RUSH, b. 6/24/1818 in NY according to death certificates of some of his sons, d. 2/23/1896 in Clarion County. He married three times and fathered 22 children. Wife1: Polly m. abt. 1840 in Michigan, m. 2 Catherine Freelove and 3. Clarissa Matilda Hines. He shows up in the 1850 and 1860 census records in Venango County. He purchased a farm near Sligo in 1868 and lived there the rest of his life. Many of his descendants are buried in the Rimersburg cemetery. Does anyone have any information about his parents?
