I am looking for my mother's family. The names that I have in the United States are Derby (her family name), Daby at one point and Darby at another. I have the family back to Thomas Daby who was born 1657 in Salam Mass. He died 1738 in Stow Mass. His father was John Daby or Darby born about 1640. Thomas married Mary Browne daughter of John Browne and Hester Makepeace. They had seven children.
I appreciate any help, although I am not positive that Derbyshire is where they came from. It just seemed logical.
