I am looking for more information on the following family, and will share what information I already have.
Wendelin WASSENICH was born 2 MAR 1826 in St. Wendel, Rheinprovinz, Prussia. At the age of 18 he came to the USA, settling in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He married Marianna GRIEF (or GREES?, born 11 NOV 1827 in St. Wendel, immigrated about 1850, perhaps a daugher of Michael GRIEF) in Cincinnati.
Their children were:

Charles Jacob WASSENICH (born 1 JUN 1858 Dayton, married Elizabeth RITZERT in OCT 1882 in Dayton, died 6 JAN 1945 Dayton),
Mary Louise WASSENICH (born 2 FEB 1861 Dayton, married Jakob BOLL 4 APR 1882 in Dayton, died 24 JUN 1922 Dayton),
Clara WASSENICH (born about 1864, died 1874),
Emma Maria WASSENICH (born about 1866 Dayton, died 9 JUL 1867 Dayton),
John P. WASSENICH (born 31 AUG 1869 Dayton, died 20 FEB 1951 Montgomery County, Ohio),
and Josephine WASSENICH.
Wendelin WASSENICH died 22 JAN 1916 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. His wife Marianna died 23 OCT 1919 in Dayton. They were two of the founding members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dayton, Ohio.
