Sparks, Barbara Harris

ROARING RIVER - Mrs. Barbara Harris Sparks, born Oct. 31, 1928, passed away Jan. 24, 2003, daughter of Fannie Long Harris and Everett Harris both deceased. She was the beloved wife of Harry Lee Sparks; mother of two daughters, Janice Renegar James and Ann Renegar White (deceased); a very special friend, Lonnie G. Miller Jr., three sisters, Vera Wilkins, Peggy Pfaff and Judy Funard; three brothers, C.W. Harris, Dan Harris and Jack Harris (deceased); and two granddaughters, Le Ann Emerson and Sky White. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Burnett officiating. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in North Wilkesboro from 5 to 7 this evening.
