In the 1851 census for Blackville, Northumberland Co., NB there is a Mary Abro 65 and a widow living in house #127 along with her sons Gilbert, Elijah, and Samuel. Living with them is William Babcock an ancestor of mine.

William was married to a Margaret Pierson and they had at least 6 children, only one of whom I can trace. At the time of the 1851 census William was 95 years old.

What I would like to know is what was Mary Arbo's maiden name and could she be a daughter of William Babcock?
