I am wondering if anyone may have information on the family of Helen J. (Smith) Finlayson?
Helen J. Smith was born April 21, 1840 in Ohio.
She died November 15, 1876 in Eldora, Hardin County, Iowa.

I am wanting to get in touch with decendants of the Finlayson family.

This last weekend I was visiting Eldora, Iowa and made copies of records that had James Finlayson Jr in them.
I would like to find decendants of James C. Finlayson to give copies of these records and newspaper snippets to.

James Finlayson Jr. Born May 10, 1841 in Hatley, Quebec, Canada; married Helen J. Smith December 31, 1858 in Freeborn, Minnesota.

James Finlayson Jr. was my great great grandfather's brother-in-law.
Margaret Finlayson married George Emerson.
James Finlayson and George Emerson grew many fruit trees and veg in Eldora, Iowa.
