My great-grandmother, Mary E. "Mollie" Goodman, was born in Oct 1855 in Alabama. She married my great-grandfather, William Lawrence Lollar on 29 Sep 1869 in Sanford County (now Lamar County), Alabama. They had 10 children born in Lamar County, Alabama (Minnie Lee, Shearod Alexander, Brinder, Fleta, Clanie Banks, Chester Ervin, Clarence Robert, Claude Lawrence (my g-father), Earl ross Lollar, & Bessie Lena).

I am seeking information on Mollie's Goodman roots. She is the daughter of Joseph W. & Susan Goodman - both of whom indicated in the 1850 Census that their birthplace was South Carolina. Joseph W. Goodman was born in 1823 and Susan Unknown was born in 1825. Joseph W. Goodman is the son of Joseph Goodman (b. 1790) and Elizabeth Goode (b. 1792) who married in Henrico, Virginia, on 12 Mar 1910. I suspect the entire family may have been born in Henrico, VA.
