I have tried to order some newspapers on microfilm re the area that my ancestors were from in Coffey County, Kansas. Apparently the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka, KS doesn't loan out their microfilms out-of-state. Would anyone be willing to look in a few newspapers for my ancestors? Please respond and I will give more details. Thanks for any help! I don't live anywhere near Kansas, so am unable to go there to get past this brick wall. I believe that the newspapers will hold the key.
