James Mollica, 53, of Cameron died July 1 in Milam County, as a result of a pickup truck accident during the recent flooding of Little River.
Funeral services were held Oct. 6 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Ernest Taylor officiating. Burial followed at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mollica was born June 14, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio
He was an assemblyman for ArtcoBell Company in Temple. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a past member of the Rockdale VFW.
He married Linda Kay Wright.
Survivors include his wife Linda Kay Mollica of Cameron; step daughters, Christina Rollins and fiancé, Joe Coleman, of Spring and Nare Barnes of Houston; brother, Anthony Mollica of Florida; sisters, Jinny Mollica of Florida, Rita Mollica, and Rose Mary Fuengis both of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Jasper Colbert and wife, Frances, of Littlefield, Cleveland Colbert of Fort Worth, Louis Colbert of Big Lake, Johnnie B. Wright of Houston, Robert L. Wright and wife, Ann, of Houston and James C. Wright and wife, Sylvia, of Aurora, Colo.; sisters-in-law, Mary Jefferson and husband, Isaac, of Houston, Dr. Rose Wright of Schenectady, N.Y., Lula Pearl Whatley of Fort Worth and Cleo Risby of Littlefield; many nieces and nephews.
