I am looking for information about the family of Drewry or Drury Byrd. I know in was married to Lissia Deberry but have not been able to find proof of marraige date. I have a Rebecca Byrd B abt 1808 TN, who married James Blount B.abt 1800 in Tn, or Va. Children of Rebecca & James, Martha B. abt 1827, Drewry abt 1830, Jane abt 1832, Benjamin Debury, B 1835, Elizabeth b abt 1839 William abt 1842 & Edmond J b 1845. There may of bee other children of James Blount & Rebecca Byrd. As of 1850 I can not find a record of James & Rebecca & the children 2 of the children are living in the home of Drewry & Lissia Byrd. It looks to me like Rebecca was thier daughter so the grandparents of the Blount Children? Can anyone prove or disprove my theory?
