I found an entry in the 1938 directory for Kalamazoo:
Mathew Cemailji: 620 Dwight: occupation "prsmn"; Kal Staty Co
First - what is "prsmn"?
Second - Kal(amazoo?) Staty Co would be??
Last, most most importantly - does anyone recognize this surname? We have been looking or Mate Cameljic/Cemeljic (it's spelled MANY ways!), and wonder whether this could be him. I do not find this man in the 1930 or 1940 census for Kalamazoo (or anywhere!) to pin him down for birth, immigration, etc.
