Looking for Information concerning Joseph. He would have been born around 1842. I believe that his middle name was Ashley. He was married to Lydia Rhea Brown. Joseph and Lydia are my great grandparents. Resided in Baltimore MD and worked for the B&O Railroad. He lost one of his legs. I am looking for his mother and father. I have found on internet on genealogy.com that said his parents names were George and Elizabeth. Someone else told me that they had found that their names were William and Louisa. If is this is the same Joseph, I did find an 1880 census stating that he resided with his uncle and aunt. There names were Joseph Cornelius and Olivia Ashley-Cornelius in Kennedyville MD. He was stated as their nephew and farmhand. Ida Hadaway was also stated to be their niece.
