my gggr father John Anderson was born in New Brunswick around 1800.His family apparently went to N.B. after being run out of the states.the family supposedly came from Kentucky According to some stories they had plantations confiscated in Ky..I dont know when or how many were in the family.The Andersons were originally from Scotland.John came to Ontario in the early 1800s. A land patent in 1819 stated he was a native of St. Johns N.B. I dont know if he came alone or with other family members. He married Susannah Thompson,who was born in Canada, and had the following children,John jr. William,Mary,James,Sally or Sarah and Hannah.I know this is not very much info but i was wondering if some Anderson researchers had Andersons leave for Ontario around that time.
