I am a 40 year old female I was born in Houston ,Texas at a place called Jeff Davis or Jefferson Davis Hospital there. In Harris county . It has since been torn down. I was born in 1962 . So I was told. My birthdate was moved up later so I could attend school on time . So my adopted parents said. I was born to a woman named janice . No last name do I know. My adopted mother who was my birth mother's ( Janice ) best friend and drinking buddie told me had I not been adopted my last name would have been keenon. I 'm not sure if this would have been my fathers last name or not. My adopted mother 's name was Deloris Lorena Johnson at the time of my birth. She said my father saw her walking out of the hospital with me and asked what she was going to name me. She replied Rebecca . I was adopted at 3 days old. I was told by my adopted mother Deloris that I had other siblings born before me . That I was the baby the last before my mother janice was committed in a place in Rusk Texas. My adopted mother told me my birth mother passed away in the 80's sometime. It was my adopted mothers last breath wish that I be able to find my siblings. Deloris told me there was at least 3 or 4 girls and one boy. They were given up for adoption at a place called the faith depelchin childrens home in Houston texas around the time before I was born in 1962. Alls I remember is the smell of coffee from the area where my siblings were raised in the begining of there childhood before they were taken to that place. They would be older than me I was told. And my not know that I exsist. I have a red birthmark on my left elbow. I have attached a small picture of me and my adopted mother Deloris and to show what I looked like as a small girl.And as a baby of about 2-3 years old. I saw one piture as a young girl of 3 girls standing together that my adopted mother kept. But it was distroyed in a storm. I looked like all 3 of them as I saw it. If you reconize me let me know. I think my Birth fathers first name was Robert . But Mother may not have even put his name on the birth record because we all may have different daddys but the same mother...
