Those of us who are the NYC/ATL/NJ descendents of Prince Evans (1839 - 1900?) are planning a reunion where our family bagan--Augusta, Georgia. We are seeking Whiteheads who may be descendents of our great grandfather, Henry Whitehead of Waynesboro, Ga (then Augusta). We have had minimal success in locating descendents of our great, great grandfather, but we aren't giving up. If you are an Evans or a Whitehead or a Jenkins or a Hughes or a Harrison and think you may be related, please contact us and we'll compare notes. One way or the other, we will be in Augusta in July of 2009.
