Hi, my name is Debbie Giffin. My mother-in-law is a Shrum. Her name is Betty Jo Shrum (Giffin, married name). She was born 8-21-27. Her fathers name is Edward Dewitt Shrum, Lived in Patton, MO. born 1-21-1882. He married Lillie Abagail Jackson. They had 9 children: Forrest, Beatrice, Glenn, Goldie, Fern, Woodrow, Fay, Calvin, Betty Jo. She married Kenneth Giffin on May 10, 1952.
John and Johann Shrum came to Penn. from Germany or Holland before 1750. Nicholas established family clan in N. Carolna 1765. Jacob Shrum's father is Nicholas. I would like to talk to anyone who has more info on the Shrum. I would like to beable to talk to some relatives. I am passing this info on to my mother-in-law.
