Joseph CENTER came to Sangamon County in the 1820's along with his brothers William, Ashley, and James. His brothers were born in NY, and Joseph was born in PA. I believe that his father's name is Robert H. Center who died in Cincinatti in the 1830's, but need proof. Would like to share info with anyone who is researching this family. Other family names are MAY, LANG, CANTRELL, MCCULLUM, and GRAHAM.
