Doing research for a friend. His grandfather was Albert Oliver born June 9, 1905 in Bellona, Caserta, Italy. His parents were Albert and Nicolet Carusone Oliver. He came to the United States in 1920. His obit listed a brother, Oreste or Oresto Oliver who died in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1965. I have found records that the family name was changed from Olivieri. It appears Oreste, born in 1886 to Albert and Bridget Sejya, was Albert's step brother. When Albert died in 1981, it listed two brothers, Luigi and John both of Italy and two sisters Mrs. Rose Fiata and Mrs. Amalia Olivieri, both of Italy, as still surviving. I have had no luck finding the Oliver/Olivieri in Caserta or Naples where they supposedly lived. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. The man I am helping is trying to find any information on his grandfather and his siblings.
