A Samuel Harper received a land grant in 1788 for land in southwest Wilkes co Georgia. I can not find a record where Samuel Harper received this land. George Ray bought the land after 1788. I asssuem he bought the land from Samuel Harper but Samuel Harper might have sold it to someone else who sold it to George Ray. The land was on Sandy Run off Hardens Creek. Would anyone be able to help me find the land grant from 1788 where Samuel Harper received the land and a deed where George Ray bought the land. I can not find either. Thanks, Ross rsmith6670@msn.com
