I have read with interest the postings regarding various Goodman Trees. I am a descendant of Thomas Goodman born in 1821 Nottingham, England. His parents were Robert and Sarah (Watson). Thomas emmigrated to New Zealand arriving in 1843. I have traced his descendants from there, but now am trying to go further back. I can't find Thomas's family on any census, which is making it difficult. Robert and Sarah married in 1808 in Lenton Nottinghamshire England, but there appears to be no further information on them, or of any children. Surely there would have been other children between 1808 and 1821? Any suggestions or help would be great.
