My Mothers cousin (my 2nd.cousin) was Gene Mauch. He played Professional Baseball, WAY BEFORE my time, although I enjoyed attending many a Giants/Phillies game in my home state of CA., and talking with Gene etc...What I do know are; most teams Gene MANAGED starting with : Philadelphia Phillies/Minesota Twins/Montreal Expoes/California Angels, He retired from his Baseball Career after Managing the Angels around 1988/89 ?
He was fired by owner "Gene Autry" (yeah the famous "Western Movie" Star), these two Genes were friends, or so is said. Well I know this is one heck of a way to try to fill in the blanks, ocurring in ones family tree, BUT: I'm desperate! This is no joke ! All data here is true, Mom lived in same home with Gene Mauch growing up! My Mothers maiden name was MAUCH., she is still living so I would rather not give out HER NAME and "data" here lets just say they are about the same age now, @ 74 y/o! any help would be appreciated !
