The New Glasgow Evening News, Monday, January 26, 1987 - MULGRAVE - James Bloores Leet, 87, of Mulgrave, died Sunday in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Mulgrave, he was a son of the late John and Alice (Belaney) Leet. He served with the merchant marine and worked as a checker with the CNR. He was a member of Cambrai Branch 37, Royal Canadian Legion, and of St. Lawrence parish. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by five nieces. He was predeceased by a brother and a sister. The remains are resting in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Royal Canadian Legion service will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Lawrence parish, Mulgrave. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
