Hello,

I am looking for information on John Witherell (witherel, witheral, etc.). He was born in 1785 in New York and married to Judith Bullard around 1810. I know he died in 1835 also in New York. He is my 5th great grandfather (not sure if that's how you'd say it) and I would like to see who his parents are. I can't seem to find too much information though as the census information was more head of household during much of the 1800's.

Any information you can give me would be great! Even if it's just who I'd contact in New York for more information.
