I am looking for the parentage of a "Jane" I have in my family tree. She was born 1837 in Kirkby Moorside. She married William Barker sometime before 1857, as their first child was born in 1857. I suppose that doesn't neccessarily mean anything, but it's a good theory. Anyway, through census records, etc., I have narrowed it down to 3 possible Jane's. They are Jane Conning, Jane Saylor or Jane Sleightholme. If anyone out there is researching these names and can help me narrow my search, it would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!
