Purpose: to get to know other family members we’ve never met, to renew family ties, and perhaps learn a little more of the family history. Gavin & Jean were born, married, and started their family in Scotland. They then came to Canada and on down to Mills County Iowa where they are buried.
You may have their last name spelled Thomson or Thompson
Date of reunion: June 17, 2006
Location: East Liberty Church, Mills County, IA, across the road from the East Liberty Cemetery where they are buried.
Directions: Go north of Malvern and Hwy 34 on 315th St. then west on Hutchings Ave. (This is a rural country church in Silver Creek Township.MIlls County, Iowa). You can also go to the following web site,

Time: 9:00am till ??
Cost: $15.00/person (children under 5 are free). Cost includes noon meal, rental of church, and miscellaneous costs.
