My family spells it Ploetner but the early records they spelled our name Platner. My grandfather was Michael Ploetner born 1870 and married Berhardena Allsmiller. My g-grandparents were Lewis (Louis) Platner born 1833 and married Sarah Renz. Lewis and Sarah were both born in Germany. Any information would be appreciated.
