My father's name was Fred McCloy and his Father's name was Fredrick James McCloy. Both were born in St. Martin's Parish in Louisiana. Fred Jr. 9/9/17 and Fred Sr. in 1886. There is very little information on the McCloy line from there only that my Great Grandfather was Samuel Wilson McCloy and was believed to be from Coderry, Ireland. Fred Sr. married Mary Annie Belle Hanson in Bayou Chene, La 1/19/14 and both are deceased - Fred Sr. 9/8/51 and Annie Belle in the great flu epidemic in 1918. Samuel Wilson McCloy (Mack) was married to Mary Ashley and that's about all I know on them. I had a brother named Robert James McCloy who drown at 3 years old in Lake Charles, La (1950) where we were born. I have found cousins and know of Aunts and Uncles from Fred Sr.'s other marriages but would like to find out about the lineage of Fred Sr. Is there anyone who know's more on this subject? If so, please let me know. My cousin and I have been searching for quite a while in hopes of locating information. Thank you in advance for your help.
