Just saw your thread. I know its old but I will reply anyway. I live in Washington Co Va and just started on my genealogy. We may or may not have the same relatives. Here is what I have. I havn't seen anything on George Washington. I have a relative Samuel B. Widener bc1822, son of John R. and Susannah Widener, married Eunice Widener 20nov1841. She was the daughter of Norman & Lydia Widener. Children: Rufus b1842; Joel s. bApr1843; Henry b9Oct1847; Hannah bc1847; Elijah b1849; Susannah bc1851; Sarah b15sep1851; Clarinda b 1855; John b1860; Michael b1862; Mary b1864 Emanuel b1869. I don't have any info on them moving west. Does show Samuel died 1899. Let me know if we are kin!
