I was wondering if anyone knows how to find the birth parents of a child born in 1903. It states on 1910 census that she is adopted, I was also told she was native American. (She is my husbands' grandmother) Would there have been a legal adoption? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Her adopted parents were William Jeptha Beckham, B:1876 and Louella, B:1876. She was married to James Wiley 'Sodie' Dority. Thank you, Sarah .
