I am doing genealogy research on the WATTS family and FIKES is one of the line comes thru Robert Lee & Minnie Bell Hopkins Watts. Her father is Moses C Hopkins and her mother is Margaret Emaline Fikes.
The only info I have on Catherine Blasingame is that she was born in Dec 1825 in Georgia; md William H Fikes on 16 Oct 1843 and had 17 children. Wm was buried in Marak Cemetery, Milam, Texas and Catherine probably was also.
One of their sons John Woodson Fikes married a Belle Herman on 6 Jun 1889...Belle is listed as being from Mississippi...they had 5 children that I know of.
I would like any information on Martin Luther and Elizabeth Taylor Fikes chilldren as I have 4 that I can't find anywhere......Kathleen Bares
