Hello!

I am helping our County Librarian with research on her husband's side of the family, specifically, his Grandfather. His name was Samuel Mester and he immigrated in 1907 from the Port of Fiume. On his US Military Draft Registration Card for WWI, he lists "Gapson, or Gafson" Hungary as his place of birth (1890). If anyone has any information about where this was located in Hungary, I would greatly appreciate it! I live in California and can return the favor of research if needed. Thanks..Mary
